About Me

As a Senior Machine Learning Scientist with a passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and computer vision, I've dedicated my career to developing cutting-edge solutions that bridge the gap between theoretical research and real-world applications.

With over 8 years of experience in the field, I've led projects ranging from creating the largest Earth Observation dataset (RAPIDAI4EO) to engineering multi-modal models that significantly improved agricultural yield forecasting. My expertise spans foundational model development, generative adversarial networks (GANs), deep reinforcement learning, and scalable machine learning systems.

At Planet Labs, I've spearheaded the development of large-scale foundational models for satellite imagery, securing substantial funding for innovative projects and driving cross-functional collaborations. My previous roles at Airbus Defence and Space and Avira have honed my skills in radar processing, image-to-image translation, and privacy-enhancing technologies.

I'm particularly passionate about computer vision applications in AR/VR, having worked on real-time scene understanding, 3D reconstruction, and object tracking. My research has been published in respected journals and presented at international conferences, contributing to the broader scientific community.

As a technical leader, I thrive on mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, and translating complex AI concepts into impactful products. I'm always excited to tackle new challenges that push the boundaries of what's possible in machine learning and computer vision.
